This is a coffee table I build for my lounge. It is made from 18mm MDF which I painted white with a paint sprayer. The lights are just blue LED christmas lights which I wired to a switch hidden out of view. I also added a 4 pin power outlet on the front to allow me to plug in laptops and phone chargers etc.
The construction was pretty straight forwards as I had most of the peices cut to the right size at bunnings (where I bought the MDF). I counter sunk the screws and then covered them using a quick set filler. The glass I used is 6mm hardened frosted glass which helps to diffuse the lights a bit.
